IRC and CABO dwelling codes

NFPA 13 code
Just describe the sprinkler system and available water. Plan Analyst for NFPA 13 creates a complete analysis of the system(s). It also draws the system complete with the size and location of the design area.

Beam and Column Calculator
The fastest and easiest way to design and/or check beams and columns. Easily select the beam size, properties and loads. Plan Analyst checks bending, shear and deflection. Note: This is a stand alone version of the Beam and Column Calculator included with the building code versions.

Sign Calculator
Plan Analyst will check to see if the post/pole works, calculate the minimum depth of the footing and provide you with a detailed drawing.

Deck Calculator
A fast and easy way to check and/or design residential decks. Input is simple but very versatile. With a few clicks of the mouse, you select the guardrail style, offsets/cantilevers at the house, style of attachment to the house and support condition. You then dimension the deck and finally you select structural details. Plan Analyst will calculate all beams, joists, footings and connections. Plan Analyst will then create a drawing with all of the information required to design or build a custom deck.
